Looking at the historical and present modern designs of cocktail shakers we figured their functions, advantages and disadvantages. We decided to create a cocktail shaker for an home environment and decided that the best option was a simple but well designed 2 piece cocktail shaker.
The cocktail shaker consists of a classic metal tin combined with a smaller tin on top of it. The upper part is made of a strainer and the shaker closes with a cap which remains attached to the cocktail shaker.
The shaker is characterised by a particular closure for a cocktail shaker.
The tins lock and seal through a screw closure.
