Everyday…waiting

Our concept is to focus on stanchions and sign stands. With slight changes in the design, we would like them to serve other purposes than just creating queues or showing information. By adding components and functions to them or combining them with a sign stand to add information, to make them multipurpose and meet more needs of people. We decided to maximize potentiality in all their aspects. For example, we designed a stanchion that would allow the barrage of a path using only one, unlike what you should do with a normal one that would require two.

For the final design we were inspired by the iconic “Servi” collection by Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, in fact we focused on the various functions that this object could have keeping it simple and functional. The strength of our model lies in the simplicity and universality of its use. We started with a basic model that, thanks to the addition of some interchangeable components, can be used for different purposes.
