The Font Avignon Sans Serif has a straight axis and has a significant stress which adds to the legibility and has a clear form. The angled terminals are related to the calligraphic origins of fonts. The letters with several strokes have a straight and an angled terminal as well as the secondary stroke being thinner. This adds variation and character to the font. The font is very clear and legible as the x height as well as the ascender height are symmetrical. The angular shape of the terminal is in contrast with the round curves of the font.

Die Schriftart Avignon Sans Serif hat eine gerade Achse und eine unterschiedliche breite des Schriftzugs, die die Lesbarkeit erhöht. Die abgewinkelten Terminals beziehen sich auf die kalligraphischen Ursprünge von Schriftarten. Die Buchstaben mit mehreren Terminals sind einmal gerade und einmal abgewinkelten abgeschlossen, wobei der sekundäre Strich des Buchstaben dünner ist. Dies gibt dem Font Variation und Charakter. Die Schrift ist sehr klar und lesbar, da sowohl die x-Höhe als auch die Aufstiegshöhe symmetrisch sind. Die Winkelform des Terminals steht im Gegensatz zu den runden Kurven der Schrift.
