Font Specimen – Blosdom Sans

Blosdom Sans is inspired by Avant Garde Book, a typeface of Herb Lubalin. While keeping a similar basic structure as the source font, Blosdom Sans has it´s own features and characteristics. It is characterized by the diagonal stress of the round shapes, its slight stroke contrast and especially by the round terminals, which give the whole font a feeling of softness. The font appears as a unique typeface, that can be used for both, headlines and paragraphs. To create the font digitally, I used Adobe Illustrator and its Plug-in Fontself. In order to present my font, I made this specimen.
