Font specimen- Devenir sans

Devenir is the first sans serif font I designed. It has the same skeleton as the font Minion Pro,it is a serif typeface released in 1990, designed by Robert Slimbach. It is inspired by late Renaissance era type and intended for body text and extended reading. I designed the digital version of my font with Adobe Illustrator. With the Adobe Illustrator plugin FontSelf, I did the kerning and generated the Open Typefont file (OTF). To present my fonts appropriately, I  created a Typeface Specimen for both of them.

My sans serif typeface, Devenir, is a modern and simple font that often presents oblique edges and internal cuts.
