Fiore Sans is a modern typeface based on the neoclassical serif font Didot. It is shaped out of the skeleton of Didot and transformed into a sans serif. Characteristical for Fiore Sans are its slight stroke contrast, small apertures as well as cut off and rounded ascenders making the font modern and playful. To make the font, I created the letters in Illustrator and later used the plugin FontSelf for kerning and to create the Open Type font file (OTF). It can be best used for modern, lively designs and magazines.
