Font Specimen – Hiberna Sans

Hiberna is the first Sans Serif font I designed. It is a geometric typeface, which has both modern and retro features. This characteristic enable the font to be versatile, so that it can be used according to many different concepts. Cuts and angulations recall an edgy style fonts, while proportions and curved lines remind of digital and modern typefaces. Therefore Hiberna has the elegance of the past and the pragmatism and simplicity of our time. The digital version of my font I designed with Adobe Illustrator and the Astute Graphics plugins InkScribe, VectorScribe a​nd VectorFirstAid. With the Adobe Illustrator plugin FontSelf, I did the kerning and generated the Open Type font file (OTF). To present my fonts appropriately, I finally created a Typeface Specimen for both fonts.
