Mavis Serif is a font inspired by Filosofia, a typeface created by Zuzana Licko. The process of its creation comprehended the duplication of the main body and the following expansion of the shapes. Then I proceeded with the Adobe Illustrator plugin FontSelf, I did the kerning and generated the Open Type font file. The characteristics of my font are the “shadows” and the round shapes.
