Percilia is a Typeface I created starting from Garamond Premier Pro, the Garamond family follows the rules of what is now called the old-style serif design, which consists in letters with a relatively organic structure resembling handwriting, but with a slightly more structured, upright design. I kept the trend of the letters and added teardrop serifs to make it seem it’s written with a fountain pen. I was personally inspired by Tim Burton’s aesthetic work, I love the creepypasta topic and decided to create Percilia following this mindset. The letters are extended forewards and backwards like the legs of a spider and the bracketed serifs give stability to the letter shape. Percilia can be used for titles and headlines of horror and fantasy stories.
