“Piano” is my first serif font. To create it I took inspiration from the Baskerville Old Face font, which is known as the first of the transitional romans. I wanted to create a font that was elegant, with high contrast between thick and thin strokes. For this reason it is meant to be used for example for titles or subtitles of magazines or reviews.
I called it “Piano” because playing the piano is one of my favoites hobbies since I was a child. In addition, I consider the piano a very elegant instrument.
