Rocket is a serif font inspired by Minion Pro, a Renaissance-era inspired serif typeface designed by Robert Slimbach. My font was created by keeping the skeleton of the original font, applying different brushes to it and making cuts. Font features include low contrast between strokes and a upwardly sloping shape. For the realisation of the project I used Adobe Illustrator and the plug-in Fontself. Easy to read, it is suitable especially for magazines and books.
