Font Specimen – Thoth Sans

“Thoth” is the first typeface I ever created. It has a modified version of the skeleton from the font ‘Baskerville’ as a base and is  best used in an oriental or mysterious setting but it is also suitable for other topics. Its characteristics are cuts and pointy tips on a and descenders. For the creation I used Adobe Illustrator and the Adobe Illustrator plugin Fontself, which I did the kerning and generated the Open Type font file (OTF) with. To present my fonts appropriately, I created a Typeface Specimen for Thoth Sans.
