The miniature person clenched between the artist’s fingers is helpless. It’s a part of her that prevents her from thriving in modern society. A part of insecurity, a part filled with self-doubt.
She wants to get rid of it by eating it up. Therefore it will be erased and never seen again. But In the process of eating, this part is incorporated into her and isn’t eliminated at all.
The attempt of destroying part of herself is futile leaving the artist overcome with frustration and the predicament is left unresolved. The beginning of a story with an ending to be discovered.
