From CAD to reality

The last big assignment consisted in making a vase out of aluminium. The main instruction we were given was to play with irregular and asymmetrical shapes, in order to explore the material’s potentialities: the sheets of metal are easily bendable and “twistable”, however they are also quick to break when folded too much.
