From CAD to reality

Our task was it to make an interesting, unpredictable vase out of very thin sheets of aluminum. Therefore we had to create at least 3 tryout models on Rhino. This step would also make it easier when building the vase.

I decided to move on with the third model I planned (The X) in Rhino, which had larger pieces and was therefore more realistic to build in paper as well as in the aluminium. It is leaning towards on side and has three entrances to adjust flowers in. The two main elements are build into one another.
