Inkjet print on paper, 123×61 cm
For this project, a switched off smartphone screen was photographed and cut out from the rest of the image. Our fingers leave imprints on the screen, which can be seen when light reflects upon it. The finger imprints look like thick and fast brush strokes put one upon another. It is in a way restless movement in a seemingly endless space. Every finger touch is a movement in the hyperspace. The screen is the window to a rhizome where connections come into existence but without forming an immutable structure, that imposes a hierarchic order. The photograph is in a way a documentation of the interaction between two worlds, our physical world, which we call reality and the virtual world that manifests through the smartphone.
