GOLDEN STANDARD

Golden standard means the perfection and the best quality of something. Everyday every Instagram user faces a reality which suggests different ideal body standards. Since people start to imitate these models, user created specific hashtags in order to label, categorizing themselves and meet some implicit requirements to be taken into consideration. The concept of the project was to imagine a dystopian reality in which a brand sponsors and sells on Instagram the perfect unit of measurement to verify and prove to everyone that a user really fulfills the right physique requirements to post content on Instagram and if someone doesn’t, he or she can either achieve the standardized ideal or be totally prevented from posting.
