Good Grief
MA Project
2022
semester
We perceive grief as an extension of love. Like love, grieving is an individual, natural process. Grief is also a part of life since every one of us will be confronted with it at some point. Yet, the topics of death and grief are often abandoned in our everyday life. Talking about the topic is often avoided, feelings in public suppressed, and rituals and support only cover the very beginning of the grieving stage. This leaves grievers feeling alone helpless or abnormal with their feelings. This project aims to empower grievers to explore their personal way of grieving. At the same time, we are lacking knowledge of how to deal with people who are dying or experiencing a loss. We want to educate, and share tools of how to naturally handle these difficult situations. In order to be able to support others, and prepare ourselves for dealing with death in our life.
