Hi-GENE

Diseases and hygiene have had a major impact on our cityscapes and infrastructures today.
In this sense diseases such as the plague are responsible for the creation of sewers and public toilets in cities. These still exist today and are deciding the direction in which cities grow, how much water we use, but also changing our cultures, including our sense of shame.

Starting from this grave importance, we should reconsider how much importance we give to hygiene. In this regard on the one hand, hygiene knowledge must be created, on the other hand, it must be implemented into daily routines.

In order to create a positive hygiene behaviour and awareness, which will later become intuitive routines,
Hi-Gene is an intuitive, playful and interdisciplinary campaign for children. The presented soap is only its beginning in the area of product design.
