Model Making – Instrument combination

For my cardboard model, I first went to a music shop, where I was inspired by many instruments. Afterwards I made some sketches, my idea was to combine a saxophone with a mandolin, a so called “saxolin”. I started to work with the cardboard, first I cut out the big parts and glued them together with brown paper tape, then I added the small but important details that completed the instrument. The dimensions of my model are the same as a real mandolin and saxophone.
