LESPLUSS – CLOTHES THAT CHANGE

WHY  The clothing production system has exponentially increased in terms of production, consumption and waste. This vast amount of fabric, almost fully not recyclable, provides pollution in production, use and after-use. People purchase and keep too many clothings in their wardrobes.WHAT Designing a system, applicable to various garments, which extends the product features in terms of size and aesthetic, so to improve the degenerated status of consumption and waste.

HOW Questioning and researching the reasons behind the extreme production rhythms: size and aesthetic are the two main components that are frequently not versatile in clothing, this factors keep the garment monotonous and blocked. This has led to an analysis of several functional features and to study growable systems, which have eventually been the core of the process.

FOR WHOM The system is designed for an extended target of wearable garments, that are conceived as every day products. The size and functional elasticity and the unisex appearance make it easily awesome for every single of a family, even shared, daily.
