Trinacria is the name of the Sicilian flag. This magazine’s aim is to challenge the reader to shift their view on Sicily. I love and hate this island, but I believe that it deserves a second change reputation-wise and that it has exponential potential for growth. It is not valued as it should, which is something that always made me bittersweet: Sicily is a very well hidden, poorly managed and an under developed cultural, artistic and naturalistic treasure. The reasons are as complex as they are saddening, but what I’d love Sicilian people to never forget is who they are and what incredible potential for change they have at their disposal.
