Mixed Tape

As one of the first challenges of this course we were asked  to invent and build a musical instrument with cardboard.The instrument should be a mix of two existing object or two invented ones.

I first sketched down my thoughts for what I would have liked to build. I played cello for 12 years, so I know very well how string instruments are shaped. Because of that, I choose a violin and decided to give it an interesting look through the intersection with trumpet’s tubes. The objective was to make the object as more tree dimensional as possible.
