The combined musical instrument was our second assignment of the Product Design course. We were asked to choose two musical instruments and combine them together.

The model was supposed to be made out of cardboard.

I chose the harf and an Alphorn. I decided to attach the harp to the upper end of the alphorn so you could play the harp while blowing into the horn.

My alphorn is scaled down a bit so you can play it while sitting.

I started making the model by creating various cyclinders that fit at the end of each other to create the horn.

Then I wanted the horn to fit through the stand of the harf.

My final step was to attach the strings of the harp.
