Model Making – American Coffee Jug

For the Family Matters category I redesigned the classic American Coffee Jug, playing around with different shapes, handles and spouts. After creating multiple models, which work with internal structures, I decided to focus on a stackable jug.

The jug is smaller in height, but longer. It has two small feet that are designed to fit perfectly on top of another jug and remain there, so that a waiter can move around multiple jugs in a single trip. The handle is longer to keep the hand further away from the steaming coffee.
