Model Making – Instrument combination

My idea was to combine two very different instruments. The gong is a large percussion instrument, important for the Chinese and Asian tradition and is an instrument to be used individually. While the trombone, of European origin, belongs to the brass family. The two instruments with their diversity manage to integrate one with the other creating a harmony between the squared shapes of the gong with the more circular ones of the trombone. The instrument is mainly created with cardboard, glue, and water tape.
