Naked Questionmark

I want to explore the connection or disconnection between human skin and textile, fabric, or clothing. I am basically questioning the aspect of “clothing” in society and in the spaces, in which it is applied. What does it mean to be naked? What does it mean to cover? Uncover? Expose? Hide? Every child knows that you do not exit your home without any clothing on your body, leaving the extent of how much someone is covered aside. What does it mean for someone to be covered in fabric? To be covered in material. To have something external get so close to you. Hugging your skin, contours, and your most intimate parts.

But to cover what? To shield yourself from what?

Or on the other hand

To show and/or confront what?
