“NATOURE” is a modular infrastructure designed to invite tourists and locals to spend more time in the South Tyrolean countryside. The individual parts consist of a basic structure that can be adapted to the surrounding situation with additional elements. The basic structure in combination with a balcony would be suitable for a lookout point, with a jetty, it could stand on a lake.

The material used is steel for the load-bearing elements and larch wood for the cladding. Larch wood was chosen because it adapts to nature through natural weathering over time. The steel structure is kept in blue to emphasize the uniform character of the infrastructure and thus create a visual connection between the individual structural elements.
Through the offered sections, which are created by the modular structures, the visitor is invited to enter a new relationship with the surrounding nature. Be it the opportunity to protect oneself, take a break or even use the structure as a goal itself.

NATOURE is also intended to counteract mass tourism. This happens through the upgrading of not so well-known, but beautiful locations in South Tyrol through these infrastructures. This could promote a more even distribution of the crowds and thus help relieve the tourist hotspots. In addition, the local population would also be offered more recreational opportunities and their immediate surroundings would be upgraded.
