“Nora” is a publication consisting of 40 images generated from 40 personal sentences by the Ai VQGAN+CLIP. Those are two algorithms that have been combined to generate images from prompts. Optionally, start- and target images can be used. A start image initializes the algorithm with an image (rather than random pixels), and a target image serves as another prompt in the form of an image that directs the algorithm to an output. All the 40 images are generated by the same portrait. The series of images explores the artist’s identity in an intimate process.
