Own Your Vulva

Own Your Vulva is a project that comprised of a carpet and a website.

The aim of the project is to create a safe space for all people with vulvas, and everyone who is interested in learning about the female body and the social constructs around it.

The carpet, an everyday object, aims to exist as a beautiful product without any taboos. It has an embedded NFC tag with which the user can connect to a website.

The website is a share-point for users. Everyone is welcome to contribute by adding interesting posts, book recommendations, or links to videos.

By sharing information on this platform I want people to feel connected to their bodies and sexualities, empowered, and critical towards the biopolitics in place.
