The Paimio chair or Poltrona 41 by Alvar Aalto was made for the Paimio sanatorium. With this project he wanted to experiment a number of theories on the themes of ergonomics and comfortable environments, so he made sure that the structure and seat would have been good for the human being more than for the long life of the sanatorium.
In this presentation there are technical drawings, such as orthogonal projections, axonometric views and perspectives as well as some information about Alvar Aalto and his activity.
