In questo corso abbiamo principalmente lavorato su varie proposte di identità visiva e grafica per il Centro Servizi Culturali Santa Chiara. Essendo che questa istituzione si occupa principalmente della gestione di eventi teatrali, abbiamo voluto realizzare un oggetto che potesse essere utilizzato in vari modi dall’associazione stessa per farsi pubblicità attraverso diversi modi (spettacoli, talk, ecc…) durante eventi di vario tipo (come ad esempio fiere, sagre o manifestazione). Partendo dalle origini del teatro popolare Italiano; che consisteva in esibizioni ambulanti di vario genere (da saltimbanchi a spettacoli con marionette), unendolo alla tradizione decorativa dei carri siciliani, abbiamo ideato e realizzato la seguente struttura. Il Palco Errante è formato da un carro di legno a due ruote, che può essere convertito in un piccolo palco attraverso a 4 pali che lo tengono fermo, di cui 2 supportano in contemporanea anche una scenografia. Il tutto può essere montato e smontato a seconda delle esigenze. Le decorazioni pittoriche grafiche e geometriche oltre ad abbellire il carro, servono anche per attirare l’attenzione in qualsiasi tipo di ambiente circostante alla struttura.

Wandering Stage

In this course we have mainly worked on various proposals of visual and graphic identity for the Centro Servizi Culturali Santa Chiara. Since this institution is mainly concerned with the management of theatrical events, we wanted to create an object that could be used in various ways by the association itself to get publicity through different ways (shows, talks, etc…) during various events (such as fairs, festivals or events). Starting from the origins of the Italian popular theater; which consisted of street performances of various kinds (from acrobats to puppet shows), combining it with the decorative tradition of the Sicilian wagons, we designed and built the following structure. The Wandering Stage consists of a wooden cart with two wheels, which can be converted into a small stage through a 4 poles that hold it still, 2 of which support at the same time also a setting. The whole object can be assembled and disassembled freely depending on the needs. The graphic and geometric pictorial decorations, in addition to embellishing the cart, also serve to attract attention in any type of environment surrounding the structure.
