Peopleplantplaces was born from the necessity of restarting human relationship with plants and it takes place in public spaces so to emphasise the fundamental role plants have in our cities.

Our mission is to create an enlarged, lively community within an urban contest that can offer social and environmental benefits through the revitalization of public spaces. We propose a comprehensive structure that has the potential to achieve great social impact by providing everyone with the opportunity to have a garden, even to those who were never in the position of having one.

The purpose of the project is to mainly educate people to a new emotional intelligence, as well as a social and ecological sensitivity, that sees a potential in the relationship between humans and plants. It is more than just a pot, it introduces a new system of relationships both with the space itself and between people and plants. In fact not only it revitalise a misused space, but it also gives a new role to the city’s inhabitants.

The shape itself allows a huge number of compositions that can be decided with the inhabitants of the chosen place and it can even change thanks to the moving benches. The entire structure is designed to be easily constructed, and in case also dismantled, leaving the possibility to the inhabitants to move the sitting from within the pot to become a tool of connection between other pots.
