I decided not to go for realistic shapes, but to come up with a geometric shape. I also wanted to include 6 tires instead of the usual 4. So I chose a triangle as the main shape and also the arrangement of the hoops so that you can “ride” it from all sides. Two of the edges got a kink that stands out; they point to the opposite side. I also made two holes in the middle of the body, the same diameter as the tires, so that they provide a good grip to steer the car. For the sake of smoothness, I bent all the edges so that the body has better handling. As for the wood, there were two options and I went with the lighter one for the body and the dark walnut for the tires. The car has a very pleasant ride and the holes and the 6 tires make it interesting to “drive”.
