What if the production becomes slow and micro while enabling citizens to produce some parts DIY and considering raw materials locally available?

A long question which aims to shorten boots’ industrial production and to reduce the extraction of virgin raw materials; moreover, to re-introduce the figure of craft shoemakers in connection with FabLabs and therefore letting people participate in the process of creation of their requested boots.

Re-boot wants to transform a linear life cyle into a circular one thanks to designed boots which have 3D printed soles and high-quality uppers which can be then re-collected and recycled or reused.

This futuristic scenario has been also ideated to stand for g-local production, thus focusing on geographical availability of material and global knowledge sharing.

Re-Boot merges together the ancient know-how with the current technologies, entangling a continuous evolution of the entire system scenario.
