Editorial Design on poetry
The editorial piece I designed focuses on the revolutionary poetries of Malang Barry, a gambian writer that migrated to Italy in 2017. His poetries, the layout, aim to convey his feelings and livings. The main topic is racism, though it doesn’t follow the ordinary rules of poetry. Moreover, the stanzas have no fixed length, metre or rhyme scheme. Everything is based on his mood. He also doesn’t always use punctuation.
I chose a pocket size ( 11,7 x 19 cm).
The target of this editorial piece are teenagers and adults.
