Roots

“Roots”: roots in a place where habits, customs, ideas, and feelings are firmly rooted in people. My “roots” are in Mezzano, a small rural mountain village, located in the northern Italian region Trenino Alto Adige.

The purpose of this project is to recognise and transmit to others the emotions, traditions, and bond that is established with a particular place.

The way I have tried to convey this message and achieve my goal is through the creation of a particular object: a deck of cards, called “Roots”.
