Usually, when someone thinks of a chair, the first thing that comes to mind is a static piece of furniture limited to the indoors with only one purpose: to just be a seat. Sometimes objects, if designed consciously and ingeniously like a Swiss Army Knife, can have more than one purpose, and it all comes down to how the shape of their structure compromises and unites their various uses. In the case of my project, this chair has the dual purpose of being both a resting sitting structure and transport support for various types of camping gear. Because of these reasons, the legs are short both for being carried comfortably when transported and to let the user’s legs spread vertically when seated, to relax their lower body muscles better after a long hike. There are 4 hooks where you can put removable shoulder pads, used when you carry the chair on your back. To be carried, the main material used for the chair consists of Aluminum: both resistant and light, it’s used both for the sitting support formed by a costume-shaped panel and for the chair’s structure, formed by legs and support structure, consisting of costume-shaped bent tubes, sealed with one another. The back meanwhile consists of weaved and stitched synthetic fabric stripes, that when leaned on (both when sitting and carrying the chair)  bend and stretch naturally.
