Sorry, I’ve been busy

“Sorry I’ve been busy” is a project based on an experience we had spending a day with a Zebra vendor selling the street magazine together in St.Leonardo.
While starting this experience with enthusiasm and the wish to help we soon felt as if our help might not have been needed or asked for and in contrary, we became the ones needing help. Continuously reflecting upon this rejection of our offer of help, became the core concept of our project.
Also, the waiting and slow passing of time we experienced when selling Zebra became a key point of the work. This was translated by the stitching technique used to write the sentences on the fabric which is a slow work allowing us to constantly reflect on the experienced. The sentences are a collection of reflections, memories feelings and questions.
