Strøm’s most revolutionary feature is an inserted mechanism that follows the logic of the mechanical watches. Thanks to a pendulum, a really small “engine” is started, its motion produces energy. The question that here comes up is… how does that pendulum moves? It moves thanks to the carrier motion. Any sort of movement will therefore produce an amount of usable energy. This newely produced energy will certainly not be wasted, as long as a small storage system is inserted in the mechanism base. The frontal quadrant is provided of series of tiny leds, with the function of signaling whether an amount of energy is being collected or not. Is also present a small button, on the back of the right side of the quadrant, it just needs to pressed to start the energy storage. This product is designed in order to be completely composibile. The mechanism is available in two different sizes and, accordingly, also the frontal quadrants. All the pieces are interchangeable and able to be substituited at any time. The result will be a free and 100% customizable belt.
