Exploration of interrelationships through sonification

The Intention of exploring space through the body and the creation of a multi-sensorial experience with the touch as the central tool of expression and exploration.
Shaped by the external circumstances of the pandemic and the isolation and the resulting lack of interaction.
The touch, an expression that is so fundamentally rooted to the human form of communication became
something prohibited,
something feared,
something unwanted
as well as at the same time something desired.

Is a series of audiovisual experiences where the interrelationship between the body, the other and the space is explored trough the sonification of the touch.

The technical part of the project consists of a Arduino device which creates a electronic circuit.Through the touching of the device and the object that is connected as well to the device through cables a electronic circuit is created that produces data information whenever the circuit is closed.
Furtheron the created data is tranformed into musical signals.
