tasty waste

So many nutrients simply go to waste. The idea was to use the biodegradable waste that comes up at home, to make small planters to grow plants from seedlings and nourish them along the way. Once they are big enough, the young plants can be planted directly into a larger pot with the nutrient container.
The mixture of orange peels, coffee grounds, cut hair, fingernails and optionally: glycerin thus provides the young plants with plenty of nutrients. : ) For stability, starch was mixed in with soaked fibre material from a cardboard roll. This way the waste pot also absorbs excess water and releases it back to the plant.
It was important to me that almost everyone has the “ingredients” available at home and can cook their own planter.
