The Pink Pavilion Reloaded
At the beginning of the project, the “Pink Pavilion” was a shy building, hiding among the greenery of the ‘Talvera promenade’. Thanks to the competence acquired, it was possible to develop an architectural “Innesto” that highlights this structure.
Innesto – “Nidis”
The idea for the development of the “Innesto” arises fom the need to create a green space for resting during the visit. The structure, a radical extrusion of windows, represents a place incorporated into the building but at the same time secluded. The purpose of this recess is to connect the building with the city of Bolzano, but above all with the Talvera Gardens, thus establishing a “Building-Nature” relationship.
Trittico – “Re-fabricated”
Inside, the building presents an exhibition called “Re-fabricated”. The new cultural centre, in fact, focuses on the reuse of old and worn-out clothes, giving them a new life. What used to be considered waste is now a material to be exhibited.
