TRASI is a modular threshold sanitizer addressing the issue of keeping the domestic space free of harmful factors that may endanger the life of the tenants. A TRASI kit is installed where only the front door would be normally located, extending the threshold. Each kit affords to mount any door the user may desire. An additional door could also be added in the back of the structure, so that a “Mantrap Door” effect can be achieved to enhance entrance security and environments separation. On the inside, the first thing to grab the attention is the disinfecting floor mat. Such a device is formed by two different surfaces. The forward one acts as a shoe disinfectant, through friction, and the second as a normal drying mat. The user can also interact with a set of accessories, including: a hand sanitizer gel dispenser, some shelves and with a steam-based cleaning wardrobe, for coats and hats, as well as for any type of shoes. The cleaning process is activated through a physical interface. Coats and shoes have separate containers and nozzles, in order to save on time, space and resources.
