This video piece wants to explore the idea of body as score, or body as dictation. A readable, and already written surface speaking it’s own, and at the same time universal, language.

The body here oscillates among subject and object making one of its constitutive elements the real protagonist: skin, or more specifically moles.

The first half of the piece hopes to draw a line between moles and musical notes. This composition is formed only by one musical instrument: the music box.

On the other hand, the second half of the piece wants to create a connection between moles and Braille’s reading system.

Both directions would like to convey the idea of the body as a flowing surface to read.
