“Venice is going to the dogs” is a illustrated kids book that was developed after three excursions to Venice thanks to VITAL, “we are here Venice”. It a story that deals with the great, long gone, Cat Island that slowly but surely turns into a Dog Island.
The Venicians are represented as Cats that are living a nice life. But as tourism gets more and more, Venice is getting overflowed by tourists, represented as dogs. Those dogs are the reason that typical cat things are changing into dog things.
