“The soil is lava.” This rule is followed by the proposed concept for the redesign of Peter Rosegger Park, a public park in the centre of Bolzano consisting of two diagonal paths, a playground and a monument. Unfortunately, the park currently serves mainly as a transit and is hardly integrated into Bolzano‘s city life. In the style of the children‘s game „the soil is lava“, the inner-city park becomes a playful experience for passers-by, children and interested urban explorers via physical ground markings and AR.
