I imagined it like this: children from different nationalities learning each other’s language while playing together. I reproduced a scene where two children are playing hopscotch. The Italian girl counts down in German, while the German boy continues the count in Italian. This is a simple, but also strong scenario if we think at the issues about nationality of those times. Children don’t seem to care about this division, they are pure and kind.
