Starting with the intention of analyzing the dynamics that characterize the relationship between humans and animals, in this work, I try to shift my perspective into the one of a dog to see from the other side, what does it mean for a dog to live in the “human world”.
During the semester I had the possibility to visit different realities such as shelters and domestic environments that helped me broaden my understanding of the topic, documenting my experience with notes and photographs.
The final process consisted of capturing and collecting glimpses of daily life, that narrate the interests, activities, and indulgences of a living being moved just by its instinct, but somehow guided, controlled, and, entertained by human companions.
Following my own dog, I paid attention to her attitudes in order to produce sensorial images that resonate with canine view of life.
