Design Classic – Kleines Schiffbauspiel (1923)

The game was designed by Alma Siedhoff-Buscher in 1923 at the Bauhaus in Weimar for the exhibition “Musterhaus am Horn”. She herself wrote about her game: “It doesn’t want to be anything – no cubism, no expressionism, just a funny play of colors made of smooth and angular forms according to the principle of the old building kits”. The game is one of her most important works and is still produced today.
